Living by Design Blog Carnival No.31

It's time for the last carnival of 2008. This short and sweet edition features my favourite posts on themes that are worthy of our attention as we enter a new year. Thanks to everyone who contributed - happy reading and a happy new year!

David B Bohl presents How to Change ?Why? into ?Why Not?? posted at Slow Down Fast Today!, saying, "Unfortunately one of the most common phrases in our language is “I can’t.” People say, “I can’t be that,” “I can’t do that,” and “I can’t have that” more often than they realize. And more often than they would if they knew how it kept them from being open to the possibility for more in their lives."

Erin Pavlina presents Celebrate Your Life Review and Experience posted at Erin Pavlina's Blog, saying, "This past weekend I attended the Celebrate Your Life Conference in Phoenix, Arizona. This was the first time I attended this particular conference. The draw, for me, was an all-day workshop with spiritual medium, James Van Praagh."

Roberto Montanez presents What do people think about you? | Psychbits posted at Psychbits, saying, "Have you ever wondered what people think of you? Do they see you as the person you want to be seen? This article explains how you see yourself against the reality of your actions."

Peter presents The Ultimate Guide to Stress Relief posted at The Change Blog, saying, "Stress is bad, right? Or is it good? Well, if you talk to the experts, they’ll say both are true. You need some stress to just get out of bed in the morning. And when you drive to work in your car, you need stress to stay alert and respond to what is in front of you. So stress has its place. But what if a high level of stress goes on and on?"

Shamelle presents Are You Constantly At The Mercy Of Circumstances? posted at Enhance Life, saying, "You might not be able to choose your initial circumstances, but you can choose your attitude toward your circumstances. Sometimes the situation you are in is so tough, that you just cannot work your way out of the problem. You HAVE TO think your way out of the problem."

That concludes this edition. Please submit your blog article to the next edition of living by design - personal development using our carnival submission form. Past posts and future hosts can be found on our blog carnival index page.
